Re-Elect Tresa Howell For House of Delegates
America and West Virginia First!

America and West Virginia First!

I am a first-term Delegate fighting every day for an America and West Virginia First agenda. I came from grassroots activism, standing up for the values that built this state: Faith, Family, Freedom, and Hard Work. Born in Charleston, West Virginia, I am a proud graduate of East Bank High School and a first-generation college graduate, earning my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Charleston. I have worked on the front lines of management, critical care, outpatient surgery, and community health.
I am an active member of the First Baptist Church of Chesapeake, a devoted wife, and mother. We actively support many local organizations, including our animal shelter.
Today, I work alongside my husband, David, helping to grow his small business and creating opportunities for young people through internships, because I believe our next generation should have the chance to succeed right here in West Virginia, not be forced to leave it.
I come from a family of small business owners and working professionals in accounting, HVAC, cosmetology, engineering, and healthcare. I understand firsthand the challenges families and businesses face, and I fight to remove the barriers holding them back.
Before serving in the Legislature, I took on leadership in the conservative movement as Chairwoman of the Kanawha County Republican Executive Committee from 2018 to 2022. As a lifelong Republican, I was honored to be selected as a Delegate to the 2020 Republican National Convention by the Donald J. Trump for President campaign.
In the House of Delegates, I have delivered on my promises through the Jobs and Economy Initiative; working with state and local leaders, EMS, fire, and law enforcement to strengthen our communities. I will continue to stand firm against policies that hurt West Virginians and push forward solutions that grow our economy, protect our values, and restore opportunity.
When floods hit places like Winifrede, Cabin Creek, and throughout the Upper Kanawha Valley, I did not wait, I showed up. I worked alongside families, local officials, and agencies to push for recovery, and make sure our communities were not forgotten.
I have worked with the Department of Transportation for road and bridge repairs across District 52. I have helped constituents navigate business development, FEMA, insurance issues, and state programs. I have worked to move long-overdue sewer and infrastructure projects forward. I have stood with our volunteer fire departments, EMS, and law enforcement, because they are the backbone of our communities.
When people in the Upper Kanawha Valley call, I answer.
When there is a problem, I work to fix it.
That is what real representation looks like.
I am here to continue the fight for the people of the 52nd House District and West Virginia.
